Joel Page has more than 20 years of experience as a photographer and photojournalist.  Over the course of his career, he has captured iconic images of major news figures and events, provided compelling visuals for a diverse range of corporate and private clients, and has been published in a wide array of media outlets including The New York Times, The Boston Globe, The Washington Post, Rolling Stone, People, Sporting News, and

Joel’s tenure as a professional photographer began at the Falmouth Enterprise in Falmouth, Massachusetts, and continued at the University of Maine where he served as the photo editor for the university newspaper The Maine Campus and earned a degree in journalism.

Joel rapidly became a trusted resource for a number of news outlets, and began his work for the Associated Press covering state and regional news.  Joel’s relationship with the AP later brought him to Concord, NH where he covered the state’s first in the nation presidential primary in 2000.  Following the election, Joel relocated to Portland, Maine, where he currently resides.  Joel’s extensive portfolio includes three presidential campaigns, Major League Baseball spring training, statewide coverage of 9/11 and hundreds of stories in news, politics, sports and travel.  

In addition to his photojournalism work, Joel is a valued asset to many corporate and private clients who rely on his expertise to capture the images they need.  Joel has had successful client engagements with many highly recognizable businesses including ExxonMobil, AAA, Poland Spring Water, US Cellular, and Mercy Hospital.

Joel is an avid boater and outdoorsman, and when not on an assignment for a client, he can be found sailing in Casco Bay or the islands off Cape Cod.
